Australia's controversial tennis star Nick Kyrgios has revealed that he has put aside his infamous sledging row with Stan Wawrinka, saying that the duo shared a good rapport while playing together for Singapore Slammers in the 2015 edition of International Premier Tennis League (IPTL).

Kyrgios had sparked controversy in August when he made lewd remarks to Wawrinka during their Montreal Masters match. The duo hadn't spoken to each other for a long time.

Reflecting on his relationship with Wawrinka, the 20-year-old maverick player admitted that they are much more comfortable with each other now, the Guardian reported.

Kyrgios, who was handed a suspended ban and a fine by the ATP tour for his remark, insisted that he had given Wawrinka all the needed energy during the IPTL.

Wawrinka, Kyrgios and Andy Murray's Slammers won the second edition of IPTL after beating table toppers Indian Aces 26-21 in the final on Sunday.
