L&T Infotech, a global information technology services and solutions company has announced a strategic partnership with GE Digital combining LTI's diverse industrial capabilities with GE's Predix cloud-based operating system for the Industrial Internet.
LTI and GE Digital will collaborate to develop innovative digital-industrial solutions powered by Predix analytics and real-time insights to enhance competitiveness and transform the way companies manage their assets and workforce.
LTI's Industrial IoT Practice develops comprehensive solutions and applications encompassing smart sensors, connected machinery, real-time visualization and advanced analytics. As strategic partners, the two companies will synergize their group industrial heritage and domain expertise to deliver Predix-enriched applications for various industries like:
Oil and Gas - solutions encompassing Next Generation Digital Oilfields; Integrated Refinery Operations Management; Advanced Pipeline Operations; and Prime Plant, an early warning system for critical equipment failure.
Power and Utilities - digital Industrial solutions that address the end-to-end value chain in the power sector from power generation to transmission and distribution.
Construction - solutions to address high impact asset productivity, spares consumption, process digitization and safety issues concerning the construction sector.
