It was an honour for Laga Gaga to work with sexual abuse survivors at the Oscars 2016, says her recent social media post.

The 29-year-old singer recently took to her Instagram page and shared a special behind-the-scenes pic with the sexual abuse survivors, captioning it as, "Tears and hugs, matching tattoos and pictures, storytelling and encouragement. These survivors represented for others all over the world and I was so honored to be up there with them. 50+me= 51 #tilithappenstoyou," Us magazine reports.

During the 88th Academy Awards, the 'Paparazzi' hit-maker enthralled her fans by performing Oscar-nominated song 'Til It Happens to You,' a song on sexual abuse.

Gaga was sexually assaulted when she was 19. 'Till It Happens to You,' written with Diane Warren, a nominee for 'best original song,' appears in 'The Hunting Ground,' a documentary about sexual assault on college a campus that was directed by Kirby Dick.
