Lady Gaga has finally broken her silence against her critics saying that that it gives them a sense of pleasure when they believe that they have destroyed her or taken her down.

The 'Poker Face' hitmaker told The Guardian that she feels that people are surprised when they find out they have not ruined her, the Huffington Post reported.

She said that it was entertaining for her detractors to poke fun at her despite knowing anything about her album or the efforts she has put into it.

The 27-year-old singer said that she isn't bothered and finds the society interesting, as people have no idea the amount of work she puts into her performances and what she does or what it took for her to get where she is.

Gaga, whose latest release was compared to Katy Perry's 'Roar by critics, said that people have started saying that "she is over" or "she is finished" as she has not reached on the top yet.

She said that people focus less on the music and focus more on how the music's doing financially and on the charts.
