Apple's latest iPhone5S is inclusive of a better security feature, however, experts have found that the company's new range of smartphones is not as durable as the older models and are prone to breakage.
SquareTrade, a provider of protection plans for gadgets, tested five smartphones, including Apple's new iPhone5S to check their durability and see if they could withstand drops, dunks and other common hazards.
According to News24, SquareTrade's testing showed that although Apple's new smartphones are not as tough as last year's models, the most delicate were Samsung's Galaxy S4 models, which failed to work after being submerged in water and being dropped 1.5m off the ground.
However, the phone to resist the testing most was Google's Moto X.
Apple, Samsung and Google did not comment on the issue.
