British teenager Laura Robson will become Britain's highest paid sportswoman after sponsors took notice of her excellent showing at Wimbledon, with the player looking to extend her winning streak today.
According to the Daily Star, Robson has already signed deals with Adidas and Virgin Active and sponsors are queuing up to sign the gen-next player, who became the first British woman to reach Wimbledon's fourth round since 1998.
It is expected that she would be able to boost her earnings from the current 300,000 pounds a year to more than 1 million pounds.
