Italian football side Lazio player Eddy Onazi had reportedly used his running skills to catch a pickpocket in Rome and hand him over to the police.

The Nigerian midfielder was reportedly having dinner with his brother when he spotted a local youth targeting a group of tourists, following which Onazi chased down the thief and dragged him back to the local police.

According to Metro.co.uk, Onazi said that he was alerted to the situation as he noticed the suspicious behaviour of the thief before he snatched the tourist's wallet, which was found to be full of money.

Although Onazi further said that the mugger had left the wallet under a car while he was chasing him, he added that he brought the thief back to the restaurant and left with his brother once he saw that the situation was resolved.
