Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief B.S. Yeddyurappa and Union Minister Ananth Kumar were directed on Saturday to appear before the cyber crime cell in seven days and give voice samples in connection with a leaked video in which both leaders are seen discussing plans to destabilise the ruling Congress government in the state.
Both Yeddyurappa and Kumar are reportedly discussing about Chief Minister Siddaramaiah having given Rs 1000 crore to Congress high command and about a diary seized by the Enforcement Directorate and income tax officials from a Congress MLC's residence.
Yeddyurappa has accused Siddaramaiah of paying Rs1000 crores to party high command to retain his position as chief minister.
