Leave travel concession case: Delhi court summons RS member Anil Kumar Sahani

The Patiala House Court on Thursday issued a summons notice to Rajya Sabha member Anil Kumar Sahani in an alleged leave travel concession case.

Sahani is to appear before the court on April 3.

CBI Special Judge Virender Kumar Goyal summoned three others in the same.

The others accused in the case are then Office Superintendent of Air India N.S. Nair, an employee of Delhi-based Air Cruise Travels Private Limited Anup Singh Panwar and Arvind Tiwari who works with Murgai Travels.

The court order came after considering the chargesheet, statement of witnesses, documents and material placed on record filed against Sahani under various sections dealing with cheating, forgery and provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act.
