British golf star Lee Westwood has said that he feels comfortable at Augusta where he is bidding to break his Majors jinx next week at the US Masters.

Westwood, who has finished inside the top eight at The Masters four times in his career, said that if he does not end Europe's 15-year wait for a Masters winner, it would not be for the lack of trying.

The former No.1 said that the Augusta National is a great tournament and one he would love to add to his CV adding that he has always felt comfortable there, even though the tournament tests everything including clubs, mind, management, patience and fitness, the Mirror reports.

Since Jose Maria Olazabal's Major triumph in 1999, no European has won golf's first Major of the year although reportedly no golfer has consistently got closer to the title win than Westwood.

Although Westwood has not won a tournament since the 2012 Nordea Masters, it looks like an opportune time for him to win the first Major of his career as Tiger Woods is out and Phil Mickelson is carrying injury worries this week, the report added.
