LeEco sells content worth Rs. 320 million; joins Twitter for expansion

LeEco, the global internet and technology conglomerate is on a blistering growth track in India. The company created another unimaginable record in the industry by selling content worth Rs. 320 million in one day on the first flash sale of its Blockbuster Superphone Le 1s Eco.

Wooing the Indian users, the company's first supertainment loaded superphone has been largely appreciated after its availability at an incredible introductory price of Rs. 9999 over which users can avail additional 10 percent cash-back on all HDFC credit and debit cards.

"We are immensely proud to be creating new industry records with our superphones and thrilled to have done it this time with our content membership program. Le 1s Eco is the first of its kind that comes integrated with our content ecosystem and this will change the way users consume content on the go," said COO Smart Electronics Business LeEco India, Atul Jain.

 

The technology conglomerate has yet again proved its mettle, as it has announced a joint business partnership with Twitter, which will influence the world's pioneering live communications platform on May 11.

The advertising partnership will provide access to campaign-based for analytics and custom research, strategic advertiser tools and resources, and first-to-market advertiser innovation in 2016.

"Twitter has been helping Chinese companies go global for well over a year and we've seen export advertiser adoption grow exponentially. We are pleased to partner with LeEco in their digital transformation journey as a globally recognized brand," said Vice President Online Sales Asia Pacific and Latin America at Twitter, Aliza Knox.

LeEco's global Twitter handle is @LeEcoGlobal and LeEco targets specific markets like India through @LeEcoIndia. LeEco India's Twitter handle was created in early October 2015 and since then, it has successfully garnered over 80,000 followers within just 60 days.
