LG's record breaking 77-inch OLED TV has reportedly seen a slower roll out than expected.
According to Cnet, the reason behind the slow growth is high manufacturing cost and lack of technology breakthrough, making it much more expensive to manufacture an OLED Tv than a normal LCD.
The OLED TV was forecasted to produce revenue of about 1 billion dollars, which was later brought down to 795 million dollars.
An OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) is mainly used in smartphone displays but Samsung and LG are using the technology in few of their products.
