Wearable camera manufacturer, Liquid Image has reportedly unveiled a small, mountable camera that is capable of live video streaming over LTE along with a detachable module.

The wearable camera is targeted towards athletes who want to stream their exploits in real time and organizations that want to broadcast their events.

According to The Verge, the Ego LS model 800 is expected to hit the shelves in June for a price of 199.99 dollars, while the LTE module will retail for an additional 199.99 dollars.

The camera can capture 1080p video at up to 30 fps or 60 fps in "high action mode," which makes for an exciting live-stream along with an 8-megapixel-camera mode for stills.

The report said that the camera is also equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and low frequency RF and the battery life is claimed to last between 90 minutes and two hours when live streaming over LTE.
