Liverpool chairman Tom Werner has said that he thinks manager Brendan Rodgers has made remarkable progress and that he is a great strategist who has shown strong leadership.
According to the Mirror, Werner expressed that when the club hired him, they were confident of getting one of the brightest managerial talents in the game and that he is already proving his worth.
Werner said that Rodgers is dedicated to improving the club as a whole and shares their vision of developing a club that is built fort sustained success.
The chairman added that the boss had shown a willingness to use young players and at the same time, demonstrated the ability to get the best out of their established stars.
He said that the players respected Rodgers and everyone had embraced his philosophy, adding that he was very much the leader.
