Liverpool player Luis Suarez has said that he is a changed man after a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic, thanks to his daughter Delfina and baby son Benjamin.
According to the Mirror, Suarez cradled his new-born son Benjamin and took three-year-old daughter Delfina onto the pitch for the pre-match handshakes before the Reds' weekend win over Crystal Palace in tribute to their calming effect on him.
He said that he was aware that in recent matches he was involved in, he was calmer and very self-critical, adding that he had realised that playing well, with more tranquility, was helping him a lot.
Suarez added that he preferred to continue like that and not be the same as before, and that the only thing he cared about was playing football and enjoying his family.
After a summer when he was widely condemned for his attitude is attempting to desert Liverpool despite their unwavering support, Suarez reckons he returned from his ban a better and wiser man, the report said.
