LJP, BJP join hands to fight Lok Sabha elections together

Eyeing the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) on Sunday announced that it has entered into alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

According to a Times Now report, the LJP has cemented an alliance with the BJP, and party chief Ram Vilas Paswan will be meeting BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi to discuss the future of the alliance.

Earlier today, LJP leader Suraj Bhaan had announced that talks have been on between the two parties regarding the alliance.

"The alliance between the BJP and the LJP is confirmed. It will be officially announced soon," Bhaan had said.

LJP had earlier tied up with the Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) for the Lok Sabha polls.
