Irked over poor infrastructure in their areas, voters from two villages in Madhya Pradesh's Chitrakoot Assembly constituency boycotted the by-elections held on Thursday.
Locals from Berhana and Semara village in Chitrakoot boycotted the by-polls alleging that the authority doesn't provide them basic facility.
One of the locals shared their plight while talking to ANI.
"Barring schools, none of the facilities is being given to us. We decided to boycott by-elections because no one listens to us," said a local.
The villager further said that they would continue boycotting other elections if the authority doesn't pay heed to their problems.
