Crime branch will summon former Goa chief minister Digambar Kamat in connection with the Louis Berger bribery case today.
On Monday, the Goa Police had told a court in Panaji that former PWD Minister Churchill Alemao, who was arrested in the case earlier, is not cooperating in the probe and is indirectly threatening the Investigating Officer.
The Tarun Gogoi-led Assam government had also ordered a CID inquiry into the case earlier.
Louis Berger, a US-based consultancy firm, has admitted it paid bribes to Indian ministers to win contracts for water and sewerage projects (one each in Goa and Assam) to be implemented with Japanese assistance.
