Louis Walsh has returned to 'X Factor' as the fifth judge to enhance the reality show's ratings, which were said to be going down after Nick Grimshaw had failed to entertain the audience.
The 63-year-old talent manager, who was a judge on a ITV talent show for ten years, will sit in the area away from the other four judges to provide his own unbiased comments, the Mirror reports.
According to a source, "It's a massive coup for Louis, who is also going to sign a deal with Simon to help launch Ireland's Got Talent, as a judge."
Louis will join current judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Rita Ora.
