National level shooter Tara Sahdev, who was allegedly tortured and forced to convert her religion by her husband, has resumed her shooting practice.
Speaking to the media at the Tikait Umrao Shooting Range here on Friday, Sahdev said, "I am back in my world and this is where I want to live. I had been in a dark place and I didn't want to die there, which is which is why I came back, to my world. I will have to start everything all over again, but I am very happy to be able to hold a rifle again.
Sahdev's alleged case of love jihad had resulted in an enormous demonstration in Jharkhand. Her husband Ranjit Ranjit Singh Kohli alias Rakibul Hassan was sent to 14 days judicial custody after he had been caught in New Delhi.
