Barcelona's new manager Luis Enrique vowed to bring 'attractive, effective' football in the club in order to make fans smile again as he promises to make a fresh start for the former fallen Spanish Champions.
Enrique, who replaced Gerardo Martino on Monday as the new boss after trophy-less season for the club, said that it is a very special day full of hope, as it is a day when they begin to build a new Barca.
According to Sport24, Enrique, who is a former goalscorer and B-team coach for the club, said that they would begin building a new Barca that can have hope and that gets all the results which they are looking for.
Enrique, who left Celta Vigo to rejoin his old club, said that he is hoping for a very attractive and very effective team, adding that it is the reason he is there.
The Spaniard said that he thinks that he is capable and feels that he can bring positive things to the players and to Barca and that would be his challenge.
Enrique also said that he is hoping that the seniors at Braca would pressurize him everyday to compete for titles, as the Catalan team narrowly missed out on the Spanish league trophy in a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid on May 17 to end their first season without a major trophy in six years, the report added.
