Upendra Yadav, the chairman of Nepal Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal (FSF-N), has stressed that the new Constitution, which did not include rights of Madhesis was not acceptable.
Addressing a press conference organised by FSF-N Rautahat district committee, Yadav claimed that the Tarai people were ready to sacrifice their lives rather than accepting the Constitution which did not grant them their rights.
He said that the Madhesi people were on the road just to protest the domination against them practiced by the government for ages.
Yadav added that the agitating parties would not join the government unless the issues of Madhesi people were addressed, reports Himalayan Times.
The chairman of FSF-N further said that he would like to appreciate the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) leaders as they stuck to the agitation despite the negative coverage.
Yadav also warned the government not to perceive the agitators' silence as the end of strike.
