Second-half goals from Isco and Lucas Vazquez saved the blushes for Real Madrid as they were pushed hard by spirited Osasuna before clinching a 3-1 win in their La Liga clash here on Sunday.

Zinedine Zidane's side came under a little pressure after Barcelona registered a thumping 6-0 win over Alaves to temporarily climb top of the La Liga table.

However, Madrid -- who still have two games in hand--did enough at Osasuna to move back above the Catalans in standings,goal.com reported.

Star striker Cristiano Ronaldo put the visitors in front in the 24th minute of the match by slotting a shot under goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, but Osasuna soon made amends by scoring an equalizer through a lovely Sergio Leon effort in the 33rd minute.

Osasuna continued to push Madrid back all the way in the second-half , but their failure to regularly test goalkeeper Keylor Navas was exploited by the visitors who eventually smashed their second goal via Isco in the 62nd minute.

Subsequently, substitute Vazquez's goal in the stoppage time added perhaps undeserved gloss to the Madrid's scoreline.

The match also saw right-back Tano being taken off on a stretcher after suffering a horror injury in a collision with Isco in the 15th minute.

Madrid, who now have 15 wins from 20 games they have played, will now lock horns with Espanyol on February 18.
