Mahindra Comviva on Wednesday announced an update on its payPLUS payment solution, wherein the platform will enable merchants with a unified payment acceptance.

The update will enable the merchants to accept several payment instruments such as Aadhaar, Bharat QR, UPI, cards and wallets through a single interface.

payPLUS simplifies the merchant's payments journey, empowering the entire merchant ecosystem. It makes them independent and self-reliant, with its self-on boarding functionality, which significantly lowers the on boarding cost and allows the merchant to start accepting payments by just downloading the app.

"With payPLUS, Mahindra Comviva supports the Government's vision of a digital and cashless India and is geared to extract the most out of the recent policy changes," said Srinivas Nidugondi, SVP and Head, Mobile Financial Solutions, Mahindra Comviva.

To keep up with new technology and increasing customer demands for digital payments, merchants need an end-to-end infrastructure solution which would enable them to accept digital payments and optimise growth across channels.

payPLUS will offer single authorisation mechanism that will allow merchants to log in with their biometric credentials eliminating the need to remember multiple user name and passwords.

Also, the single dashboard view of sales will allow merchants to make quick and informed decisions that will simplify reporting, reconciliation and user management.
