The probe into the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines plane MH370 has been classified as a criminal investigation, Malaysian police chief has said.
Police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said the investigation into the missing plane had been classified as a criminal investigation.
He added that as the search for the missing plane continues into its 25th day police had taken more than 170 statements for the ongoing probe, and would question more people.
According to news.com.au, however, he said any investigation findings would not be revealed at this time as it may impact a later prosecution.
But conceded that the real cause of the plane's disappearance will never be known even after the investigation is concluded.
