A psychiatric patient, who has allegedly stalked CNN anchor Anderson Cooper for five years, has been arrested and charged with misdemeanor harassment and stalking.
Alex Hausner, a self-proclaimed gay, Jewish white supremacist, has allegedly made numerous threatening phone calls and has also attempted to make face-to-face contact with Cooper four times, since 2008, the New York Post reported.
But the matter escalated in June, when 40-year-old Hausner tried to kick down the door of the posh, four-story West Village converted firehouse that Cooper shares with his boyfriend, Benjamin Maisani.
According to court papers, a security camera caught Hausner, threatening to "f-k up" Cooper, while he was kicking at the gate.
However, Hausner alleged at the Manhattan Criminal Court on Sunday that he could prove with the help of his sources that Cooper's boyfriend has sent people after him.

Prosecutors said that Cooper's partner, who owns a gay bar in East Village, is also a victim.
But, Hausner claimed to the publication that Maisani is a thug and a mongrel.
The scraggly-haired Hausner was ordered held in lieu of 75,000 dollars bail on felony first-degree menacing charges.
