Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta has revealed that his club and new boss Manuel Pellegrini are going for four trophies this season, as they also want to win the Champions League along with the Premier League title.
According to the Mirror, Zabaleta is unwavering in his belief that the squad at Manuel Pellegrini's disposal is the best he has been a part of in the five years since City recruited him from Espanyol for 6.5 million pounds, less than 24 hours before Sheikh Mansour completed a takeover that was to transform the club.
And this season, according to the Eastlands club's player of the year, there are no excuses, the report said.
Zabaleta said that the manager had told them that this time they must aim to win all four competitions they would be involved in.
He added that the Premier League and the Champions League are the most important options for every team, but he is also serious about winning the FA Cup and the Capital One Cup.
