Indian batsman Rohit Sharma has said he is confident that the Indian batting line-up is good enough to be able to chase anything Australia can offer in the seven-ODI series.

Sharma's impressive 141 not out, which was his third ODI century, in the second ODI against Australia in Jaipur on Wednesday, boosted India to a nine-wicket victory as they mowed down their imposing target of 360 with ease.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Sharma said that India felt comfortable chasing anything Australia can offer in this series given their good batting line-up and the newly introduced rules where five fielders have to be inside the ring, adding that they were helped by the fact that they had good partnerships in the game.

Hailing the Indian top order, Australian skipper George Bailey said that the strength of India's batting was far from a secret, adding that Virat Kohli made a phenomenal innings after his unbeaten century was deemed the fastest by an Indian and the fastest against Australia.
