Manchester United has drawn 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur in their Premier League encounter on Sunday at the White Hart Lane.

Although the defending champions side were thankful to leave White Hart Lane with a point, but having also drawn 2-2 at Cardiff City last weekend, this was another missed opportunity to gain ground on the top four and they remained in the eighth place, nine points behind leaders Arsenal.

According to Sport24, although Spurs led twice in the game, once with a free-kick from Kyle Walker and then a strike from Sandro, however, Wayne Rooney's double brace extended United's unbeaten record to 12 games in all competitions.

United welcomed back captain Nemanja Vidic following concussion, but Robin van Persie was once again unavailable due to a groin injury, for which Shinji Kagawa reprised his role in support of lone striker Rooney, the report added.
