The goalkeeping coach of Manchester United has slammed criticism aimed at the side's goalkeeper David de Gea, saying that De Gea will become the best goalkeeper in the world.
De Gea's performances have come under intense scrutiny in recent weeks, with United enduring a difficult start to the Premier League season.
However, Metro.co.uk reports that coach Dave Woods, who joined from Everton in the summer, said he believes that the player will soon prove himself to be the best goalkeeper in the world, adding that he has got everything he needs to be the best.
Woods further said that De Gea just needs to continue his current performance and achieve a level of consistency.
