Premier League club Manchester United is scouting for Montpellier playmaker Remy Cabella ahead of a move in the January transfer window but it may cost them 100 million pounds.
According to Metro.co.uk, Cabella, 23, is Montpellier's star performance and is widely recognised as one of the most exciting players in France.
Arsenal and Inter Milan have previously linked with the move, but United have now emerged as the frontrunners for his signature, the report said.
Montpellier are aware of the growing interest in Cabella, but their president Louis Nicollin warned in the summer that it would take a bid of 'at least 100million pounds' to convince them to sell, the report added.
A fast, agile and creative midfielder who can play on the wing or behind a striker, Cabella has previously drawn links to Zinedine Zidane, the report further said.
