The man alleged to have radicalized two of the gunmen who attacked the office of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo reportedly worked as a nurse at a hospital in Paris, where victims of the assault were taken for treatment.

According to Express.co.uk, Farid Benyettou, who was off-duty on the day of the attack, was employed as a trainee nurse at Paris' Pitie-Salpetriere hospital.

A trainee nurse at the hospital, Benyettou was supposed to be back at work on Friday, but was reportedly removed from duty after hospital officials had a word with the police.

Benyettou started working as a trainee nurse at the hospital last month.

Operating under the Buttes-Chamont terror cell from Paris' 19th arrondissement, Benyettou was a key part of the organisation believed to have sent at least a dozen young jihadis to Iraq, the report said.
