A mild intensity earthquake was felt in Manipur's Chandel district in the early hours of Saturday morning, ahead of the polling in first phase of assembly elections in the state.
The magnitude of the earthquake was reported to be 3.5 on the Richter scale.
No loss of life or property has been reported.
