A young entrepreneur from Manipur has invented an eco-friendly cooking stove.
The stove has become popular among the poor families, who still practice firewood kitchen.
Keisham Gopendro Mangang, a graduate in Mathematics, started his business after he failed to get a government job.
He started his venture in June 2012 with rice husk stove and later developed it into eco-friendly stove.
The stove is smokeless, environmental-friendly and the flame regulation can be done with solar and battery operated tiny fan.

"We have sold this product not only in Imphal, but other places like Tamenglong and Ukhrul. There are so many people, who like this product, but as of now we cannot fulfill their demand. We have even sold it to Imphal East, Imphal West, Silchar and Guwahati," he said.
Keisham and nine of his workers are able to manufacture seven to eight stoves every day. They have sold over 4,300 pieces of eco cylindrical stove each stove costs Rs. 2000 to Rs. 3000 and is available in two models.
"I am a graduate, but failed to get any government job. I have come here to work and earn money," said Santosh, a staff.
"I'm not earning a huge amount of money but I'm getting it for my own expenditure. I am able to help my parents," said another staff Sonia.
Keisham has not only generated employment for the local youth, but is contributing to protect environment by inventing eco-friendly stove.
