Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao will enter the ring for the final time next year in order to devote himself full-time to politics, according to boxer's promoter Bob Arum.
Arum said that the 36-year-old Pacquiao wants to focus on his political career, claiming that the boxer would have one more fight before he prepares himself to run for the Senate in the Philippines, Sport24 reported.
Pacquiao suffered his sixth loss of his career following defeat to unbeaten American boxer Floyd Mayweather in the 'Fight of the Century' bout in Las Vegas four months ago.
The six-weight word champion then underwent corrective surgery to fix his torn rotator cuff sustained months before the high-octane fight, which generated a record 4.4 million pay-per-view buys.
