Marvin Gaye's son is now planning to sue the makers of 'Empire' by claiming that the show was his brainchild.

Tabloid media revealed that Marvin Gaye III has claimed that he registered a treatment on a show called 'Diamonds and Ballads' also known as 'Those Sons of Riches!' with the Writers Guild of America back in 2010, reported TMZ.com.

Further, Gaye has insisted that the people in the industry with whom Lee Daniel's associates have received emails pitching his treatment and he feels that Daniels unwittingly fessed up in 2014 after his show became a hit.
