Massive tornadoes carved a path of destruction in the Central and southern US, killing at least 15 people, and destroying houses and electricity lines.
The tornadoes touched cities like Arkansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri creating panic. According ABC News, the worst damage was incurred by
Mayflower in Arkansas with the tornado turning homes into rubble.
Arkansas Department of Emergency Management spokesman Brandon Morris said that the destruction has stretched for about 30 miles.
The town, located in the center of the state, covers about three square miles and has less than 2,000 residents, reports revealed.
Authorities have also issues emergency warning and safety mechanisms for the nearby communities of Maumelle, Morgan, Saltillo and Vilonia.
