Actor Matthew Broderick has a number of new projects in his kitty.
The actor is all set to star in Netflix's upcoming high school apocalypse dramedy series 'Daybreak', ABC's Roseanne spinoff 'The Conners' and on the upcoming season of FX's praised comedy 'Better Things', Deadline reported.
In the dramedy series, Broderick will essay the role of Burr, the cheerful, upbeat principal of Glendale High.
Based on Brian Ralph's graphic novel, 'Daybreak' will revolve around 17-year-old high school outcast Josh, who is in quest of his missing girlfriend Sam in post-apocalyptic Glendale.
Joined by a group of misfits, including a pyromaniac 12-year-old and Josh's former high school bully, Josh tries to stay alive amongst the horde of Mad Max-style gangs (evil jocks, cheerleaders turned Amazon warriors) and zombie-like creatures called Ghoulies.
On 'The Conners', Broderick will play Peter, a love interest for Laurie Metcalf's Jackie, and will first appear in the Halloween episode, titled "There Won't Be Blood."
The two-time Tony winner will essay the role of counselor in 'Better Things'.
