Matthew McConaughey has revealed that he was travelling around Australia in the late 1980s when he found his passion for cricket.
The 'Dallas Buyers Club' star told GQ Magazine that he went to the land down under just after high school and he found work at a pea farm, where they would play cricket everyday for fun, News.com.au reported.
The 44-year-old actor explained that he would play full-on, five-day matches, back when Curtly Ambrose and Desmond Haynes were playing for the West Indies.
While recalling his "cool" cricketing days, McConaughey added that he would eat a hot dog, take a nap, wake up, and then maybe catch the first wicket and repeat.
