Matthew McConaughey is no longer a part of the sequel of 'Magic Mike', it has been revealed.
The director of the movie, Gregory Jacobs confirmed in an interview with IndieWire saying that the absence of the Academy Award winner will only be the "unique" thing in the sequel of the movie, CNN reported.
Channing Tatum, the film's star, producer and co-writer said that he originally wanted 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star Chris Pratt to appear in the first film, but scheduling conflicts prevented the star to act in the movie.
The sequel of the movie titled 'Magic Mike XXL' is set to release in July, 2015.
