Matthew Scott decided to don a pair of Denham 14 ounce Japanese denim jeans for 300 days to raise money for an Australian charity, Jeans for Genes day, which supports children's medical research.

The 27-year-old, who came up with the idea of wearing a pair of denim jeans for 300 days, admitted that he wore them to the beach, while he was out at night and even on the hottest day on record, News.com.au reported.

Scott revealed that once he tried to climb a tree in his jeans, while on a holiday with his friends to a small country town in North West NSW, which resulted in a big tear.

He added that he used a Melbourne product, Mr. Blacks, which kills all the germs on denim. He also said that denim is about creating a story on a canvas.
