British Prime Minister Theresa May has promised to be tough with European Union (EU) Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on talks related Britain's exit from the Eurpoean Union.
May said the EU Commission President will soon find out how "bloody difficult woman" during the upcoming Brexit negotiations.
May, whose political legacy rides on the Brexit negotiations, called for unexpected snap election less than halfway through her government's five-year term. Should she win, it will strengthen her hand during the Brexit negotiations. Her Conservative Party is already leading the polls against the opposition Labour Party.
May addressed the voters, warning them of the strained Brexit talks with EU as the remaining 27 nations negotiate to cut a deal giving them maximum advantage.
Opposition parties have criticised the Prime Minister of taking high-handed approach in dealing with the EU even as May promises to be 'difficult.
