Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shazia Ilmi on Saturday spoke out in support of the views expressed by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Mayank Gandhi in his blog and said that the latter has revealed the truth about the Arvind Kejriwal-led party.
"I have read Mayank Gandhi's blog. I was also a part of national executive committee, even I had voting rights. It is that way, if you are not a part of Arvind's group, of which Manish Sisodia is also a part, then you will pushed aside," Shazia Ilmi told ANI.
"Mayank Gandhi has openly put forth the truth. Even I had left the party for similar reasons. I am really happy to be out of there [AAP] . There is lot of suffocation there," she added.
Mayank Gandhi had earlier claimed in his blog that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had insisted on the ouster of Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav from the political affairs committee of the party.
In a second blog published after the national executive of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Gandhi had said that a concerted attempt is being made through social media to describe him as anti-party and anti-Arvind Kejriwal.
