A first year MBBS student of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was found dead late on Saturday night in her hostel room, here.
According to the Deputy Director (Administration) AIIMS , V Srinivas , the student hailed from Bikaner in Rajasthan, and investigations are on to find if it is a case of suicide.
"She was an MBBS first year student. She was from Bikaner and her name is Khusboo Chaudhary. I got a call at around 2:15 a.m. There is no complaint of ragging as such and investigations are on to find out if it is a case of suicide," Srinivas told media here.

Srinivas also clarified that the parents of the deceased are on their way to Delhi.
He said he will be giving more details at a press conference later in the day.
