Northern Irish golf ace Rory McIlroy is eyeing the 'Green Jacket' in 2015 after he picked up the European money list trophy for the second time in three seasons on Sunday.
The US Masters has been the only major championship to elude the Northern Irishman and he has set sights to bag the Green Jacket now.
McIlroy, who tied for second at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, the European Tour season-ender, said that it's not something he thought possible, adding that he would work hard and make sure he is ready for that, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Winning in Augusta would be tough, no European has done it since Jose Maria Olazabal in 1999, yet world number one McIlroy is well equipped to end the drought after a season in which he claimed a maiden British Open title, a second US PGA crown and two other European Tour victories.
McIlroy said that in terms of ball striking, he has driven it better, which is a huge part of his game. He added that when he drives it well he can give himself shorter irons into greens and more opportunities for birdies.
