Besides sharing most of the surname with former world number one golfer Tiger Woods, four-year-old Samuel Wood can also swing like a demon.
Sometimes when Samuel miscues a shot with his demon swing he reportedly yell's 'Tiger Woods you suck' after watching the 14-time major winner mouth the phrase on TV.
Samuel's coach Dean Kingsbeer has revealed that the Plimmerton golfer's young charge had the potential to one day enter the world's top 50, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Kingsbeer knows what raw talent looks like, as he has already coached another rising star in nine-year-old Zhuoyi Hu, who has impressed top European coaches and been tipped to follow New Zealand superstar Lydia Ko in to golf's elite.
With the ability to drive 100-metre and hit the crossbar of a rugby post with alarming frequency Samuel already has what many golfers spend a lifetime striving for, temperament, poise and a controlled short game.
Kingsbeer claims that Samuel has got a nice natural swing and they just work on the fundamentals, which is the set up and finish and making sure the young golfer has fun.
Samuel's dad Matt Wood has switched from sailing to a lot more golf as he has watched his son's talent grow and said that the young golfer won't be pressured but encouraged by example.
However, it seems Samuel is pretty keen and hopes to emulate his hero Tiger one day, as his father claimed that one day, unprompted, Samuel came downstairs and said that if he keeps practising golf he would play on TV.
