Eugenie Bouchard, extraordinarily talented young Canadian who just secured a place in her first Wimbledon final, has an elder twin sister, Beatrice.

Beatrice was born 6 minutes before Eugene. The Bouchard twins were named after the British princesses, News.com.au reported.

The pair started learning tennis together at an early age, but according to Beatrice, Genie was always more passionate about the sport.

The 20-year-old tennis star, has always shared a "twin telepathy" power with her sister but they are polar opposites.

Beatrice who is a student said that though Eugenie is always on the other side of the world but they think of things often at the same time.

Beatrice will be watching her sister compete with former champion Petra Kvitova for the Wimbledon title and plans to use their twin telepathy from metres away by sending telepathic messages from a couch.
