A 103-year-old golfer Gus Andreone is likely to have made history as he has reportedly become the oldest person to record a hole in one.
The PGA of America stated on its website that Andreone was likely the oldest golfer to ace a hole, thereby beating the previous known effort made by a 102-year-old woman in 2007, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Hailing from Florida in the US, Andreone used a driver on the 113-yard 14th hole of the Lakes Course, but then noticed something different. The ball moved straight into the hole, the report added.
Winning 80 US dollars for the feat, he said that he was looking forward to doing it again.
