An Uruguayan man, who was reported missing in the Andes since May and later found alive in Argentina's San Juan province, has revealed that he hunted rats with a homemade trap for food.
According to rescuers, 58-year-old Raul Fernando Gomez Cincunegui also consumed sugar, raisins and food that was present in the huts in the Andes Mountains, News.com.au reported.
Doctors, who are treating Cincunegui at a hospital in San Juan, Argentina, said that Cincunegui lost 20 kilograms and was severely dehydrated, but was otherwise in good condition.
