A man named Peter Hubbard has voluntarily gotten himself injected with the deadly Ebola virus in a bid to help the doctors find a cure.

The 35-year-old brave man from Virginia, who's one of the 20 volunteers to have taken part in the American study to find a vaccine, said that he felt "great" even after being injected, and had amazed the doctors by running a marathon only days after being injected, the Daily Star reported.

Hubbard, who had also volunteered for trials to test vaccines for fatal conditions like HIV and malaria in the past, joked that if world was hit by some deadly disease, he'd be "immune" and be the last man standing.
